I’m going to be frank. This movie was all action and no plot. I mean there was a very convoluted storyline but it was hard to follow. There was just a strange mix of magic and action, unnecessary stunts, tricks, I could go on.

The movie was so full of tricks and elements that it felt chaotic. Two examples: the fight scene where the girl stops to zip her jacket before throwing a punch, and Zama hiding her gun behind the one guy’s back then just pulling it out two seconds later even though she could’ve hidden it on her person?
There were a lot of scenes that were clearly meant to be clever or witty but just came off as flat.

The acting was mid. Line delivery, emotion, all of that was just questionable. The script was on-the-nose as well.
If I had to give anyone props for their acting it would be Pearl Thusi. She gave a more convincing performance and her gun skills were actually impressive. Lewis Tan was also one of the better actors in the film.

The rest was just messy and it was difficult to sit through the movie.
If I had to compliment something else, it would be that most of the action scenes were executed fairly well. However, I would definitely not watch this film again.
