On its opening day, Gladiator II claimed the top spot at the box office.
According to data from the Integrated Computer Network for Movie Ticketing as of 7 a.m. on the 14th, Gladiator II, which was released on the 13th, attracted 72,029 viewers, securing first place in the daily box office rankings.
Gladiator II tells the story of Lucius (played by Paul Mescal), who enters a battle for the fate of Rome in the Colosseum, set approximately 20 years after the death of Maximus. The cast also includes Denzel Washington and Pedro Pascal.
Meanwhile, taking second place was Hear Me: Our Summer (starring Roh Yoon Seo, Hong Kyung, and Kim Min Ju) which has stirred up a wave of youthful romance at the box office this November. Hear Me: Our Summer drew in 32,632 viewers on the 13th, reaching a cumulative audience total of 318,628.
Coming in third was Venom: Last Dance (starring Tom Hardy), which attracted 13,840 moviegoers, bringing its cumulative audience count to 1,622,007.
Additionally, Amazon Bullseye (starring Ryu Seung Ryong, Jin Sun Kyu, Yeom Hye Ran, and Ko Kyung Pyo) garnered 6,829 viewers on the same day, bringing its total audience number to 552,789, placing it in fourth place.
