One of the saddest moments for any K-pop fan is finding out that your favorite group is disbanding. Unfortunately, some groups come to a point where they have to say goodbye to a chapter of their careers and in some cases to their fans, too.
This is a list of 16 K-pop groups that disbanded in 2023.

Note: This list is in no particular order.
1. lilli lilli

lilli lilli debuted in 2021.
In October 2023, the group’s social media accounts were deleted and members Luce and Grita confirmed that the group had disbanded.
2. Pink Fantasy

Pink Fantasy debuted in 2018.
In November 2023, MyDoll Entertainment announced that the group would go on a hiatus indefinitely from 2024 and they concluded their group activities in December.
3. MustB

MustB debuted in 2019.
In November 2023, MustM Entertainment announced that the group would disband after their contracts were terminated.
4. SNUPER

SNUPER debuted in 2015.
In May 2023, WIDMAY Entertainment announced that SNUPER would disband after their contracts ended.
5. TO1

TO1 originally debuted in 2020.
In December 2023, WAKEONE Entertainment announced that TO1 would disband by the end of the year as the members decided not to renew their contracts with the agency.
6. Moonbin & Sanha (ASTRO)

Moonbin & Sanha debuted in 2020 as a sub-unit of ASTRO.
Due to Moon Bin’s unfortunate passing, the sub-unit has disbanded.
7. Jinjin & Rocky (ASTRO)

Jinjin & Rocky debuted in 2022 as a sub-unit of ASTRO.
As Rocky left ASTRO and Fantagio Entertainment, this sub-unit has also unfortunately disbanded.
8. MOMOLAND

MOMOLAND debuted in 2016.
MLD Entertainment announced that all of the members would be leaving the agency after their contracts expired. However, in December 2023, member JooE shared that the group has not disbanded and will be active in 2024.
9. GWSN

GWSN debuted in 2018.
In January 2023, the group disbanded after winning a lawsuit against The Wave Music.
10. MAJORS

MAJORS debuted in 2021.
In May 2023, the group was assumed to have disbanded.
11. DREAM SWEET

DREAM SWEET debuted in 2023.
They were a temporary fictional K-pop group for the Netflix K-drama Doona!

12. Girls2000

Girls2000 debuted in 2020.
In January 2023, all of the members graduated from the group.
13. PoshGirls

PoshGirls debuted in 2021.
In March 2023, No.1 Media Entertainment announced that the group would be disbanding due to mismanagement. However, later it was announced that they would be reformed. They are currently active and independent with 3 members.
14. VIXX LR

VIXX LR debuted in 2015 as a sub-unit of VIXX.
In 2023, the sub-unit was assumed to disband due to Ravi leaving the group.
15. D1CE

D1CE debuted in 2019.
In January 2023, D1CE Entertainment announced that D1CE would disband following the expiration of their contracts.
16. Brave Girls

Brave goGirls debuted in 2011.
In February 2023, Brave Entertainment announced that the group would be leaving their company. The members re-debuted under Warner Music Korea with the new name BB GIRLS due to a trademark issue.
