Khoobsurat was your typical Disney Princess story about an average class physical therapist who ends up living with a prince and hitting it off.

It is a storyline that we are all familiar with but is still a pleasure to watch.

I really liked Sonam Kapoor’s character Milli because she was such a breath of fresh air. Even though she enters unfamiliar royal territory and has to follow a million rules to stay refined, she ultimately chooses being herself and never sways on her personal values.

That can be a very intimidating thing to do in a world like that.

I also enjoyed how each character seemed carefully thought out and had their own character traits that aided to the story. There was a lot of detail written into each one.

The script was witty and comedic with a good balance of emotion, as well.

Overall, this is a feel-good Disney Bollywood watch that would make the perfect addition to your pick-me-up movie collection.
