The bitter moment when a K-pop fan discovers that their favorite group has disbanded is almost unmatched in terms of sadness. Unfortunately, whilst some groups are able to continue their activities despite coming to the end of their contract with a company and the members going their separate ways, not all groups are this lucky and may have to go through a K-pop disband.
Here is a list of 26 K-pop groups that disbanded in 2024.

Note: This list is in no particular order.
1. Cherry Bullet

Cherry Bullet debuted in 2019.
The first K-pop disband on our list is none other than Cherry Bullet. In April 2024, FNC announced that the group would disband following the end of their contracts. Ji Won, Hae Yoon, Re Mi, and May left the agency whilst the remaining three members chose to stay with FNC.
2. TFN

TFN debuted in 2021.
In February 2024, the group collectively ended their contracts with MLD Entertainment and disbanded.
3. AQA

AQA debuted in 2022.
In March 2024, Startree announced that the group had disbanded.
4. Black Level

Black Level debuted in 2022.
Member Ho Su left the group in September of 2023. Thereafter, in 2024, the group has been inactive and it is thus assumed that they have disbanded.
5. JWiiver

JWiiver debuted in 2022.
Whilst there was no official announcement, in January 2024, member Raots announced that JWiiver had disbanded through his Instagram.
6. HANA

HANA debuted in 2023.
In January 2024, the group announced on Instagram that they would be disbanding. However, later in the year, in July, they reappeared in an Instagram post teasing a new album. This post was later deleted and it is unclear if the group is still active or not since then.
7. WE-SAY

WE-SAY was a pre-debut group that was supposed to debut in 2021.
Their debut was delayed leading to member Xindy making a solo debut instead. Thereafter members either left or were removed from the group and member Xindy was added to the lineup of the girl group Chic Angel.
8. XEED

XEED debuted in 2022.
In March 2024, Nature Space announced that XEED would disband in April 2024.
9. MINIMANI M

MINIMANI M debuted in January 2024.
In April 2024, CMG Stars announced that member Choi Rin would leave the group. As such, the group is assumed to have disbanded just a few months into their career.
10. MIRAE

MIRAE debuted in March 2021.
This K-pop disband took many by surprise. In July 2024, DSP Media announced that 6 out of 7 members terminated their contracts with them, excluding Son Dong Pyo – thus the group was disbanded,
11. NATURE

NATURE debuted in 2018.
In April 2024, member Haru posted a TikTok introducing herself as a former K-pop idol, which forced n.CH Entertainment to finally announce the disbandment of NATURE after terminating their exclusive contracts. So Hee is the only member who stayed in the company.
12. ABLUE

ABLUE debuted in 2022.
Another K-pop disband in 2024 was ABLUE. In April 2024, the group announced that they would be concluding their activities. One member, WinL also announced that he would stop being an idol due to health issues.
13. PinkFantasy

PinkFantasy debuted in 2018.
In July 2024, MyDoll Entertainment announced that the group would be disbanding after much speculation from fans.
14. TAN

TAN debuted in 2022.
In June 2024, Chang Sun announced that the group had disbanded and he would be stepping down as leader, as well as leaving the industry.
15. Weki Meki

Weki Meki debuted in 2017.
One K-pop disband that truly upset many K-pop fans was that of Weki Meki. In June 2024, Fantagio Entertainment released the teaser for Weki Meki’s final digital single ‘CoinciDestiny’ which would signal the group’s disbanding after its release.
16. MUL

MUL was yet to debut but was promoting actively.
In June 2024, it was announced that their debut had been canceled.
17. Floria

Floria debuted in 2020.
Another K-pop disband in 2024 was the girl group Floria. After some lineup changes, in April 2024, member Su Mi posted that the group had disbanded.
18. LIMELIGHT

LIMELIGHT debuted in 2023.
They were a 3 member group that disbanded in July 2024 as their re-debut was announced with the addition of new members including Kep1er’s YeSeo and Mashiro. Their re-debut group is called MADEIN.
19. ViV

ViV debuted in April of 2024.
The group presumably disbanded in 2024 due to inactivity, speculated from announcements about members being active in other companies, such as Yume being revealed as a member of LOVE ONE in September.
20. VROMANCE

VROMANCE debuted in 2016.
In September 2024, the members terminated their contracts and announced their disbandment.
21. IB147

IB147 debuted in 2023.
However, in April 2024 they were presumed to have disbanded due to inactivity.
22. Hashtag

Hashtag debuted in 2017.
In October 2024, it was announced that the group would disband after the expiration of their contracts with LUK Factory.
23. FAVORITE

FAVORITE debuted in 2017.
In July 2024, member Sae Bom confirmed that the group had disbanded after years of inactivity.
24. DV.OL

DV.OL was pre-debut boy group consisting mostly of members from the disbanded boy group BLANK2Y.
In September 2024, it was announced that member Do Kyun would be leaving the group, since then the group has been inactive presumably due to disbanding.
25. MEGAMAX

MEGAMAX debuted in 2021.
The group is said to have quietly disbanded in 2024.
26. Celest1a

Celest1a debuted in July of 2024.
In November 2024, Birdman announced that Celest1a has disbanded.
