This film was interesting from the word ‘action’ when it came to the causal storyline. The storyline revolves around a cop who implicates himself by getting in an accident and cleaning up the mess i.e. tampering with evidence.
It was a very character-heavy film that focused on the lead, not really exploring any other characters to the same extent. Which, as a result, meant that the effect storyline was lacking.

This would’ve been okay if the lead character had more depth. His acting was good but the writing of his character fell short.
One of the interesting choices he made was to hide the dead body of a stranger in his own mother’s coffin. I was surprised by the lack of emotion that came with all the scenes related to this decision. Everything was calculated, as a cop would be – I guess, but mechanical.

The cinematography, however, was a redeeming quality. It set the eerie empty mood that filled the film really well.
Other than that, it’s just another action film. Easy to watch and entertaining enough.
